The Breakup 2.0: Disconnecting over new media, written by Ilana Gershon (2010) explores the various media ideologies and mediums people use to end romantic relationships. Gershon, a college professor at Indiana University interviewed her students to ask the following question: ‘what counts as a bad breakup?’.
